I went through Satoshi Nakamoto's wallets; thread of new findings that I don't think have been previously reported including:

-My best guess is that Satoshi was last active onchain in 2014
-He may have used a Canadian BTC exchange (!)
-Kraken may know the identity of Satoshi Image - A Patoshi Mining Pattern set of addresses were recently cataloged by Arkham. We can't definitively link these to Satoshi but there is good evidence
-In total, this research points to Satoshi owning 1.096M BTC, $108B worth, making them wealthier on paper than Bill Gates Image

From what I can see onchain, Trump has sold ~$500M of tokens thus far. The Trump team still controls 85% of supply Image It appears that every single token circulating was sold into the market, or provided as single-sided liquidity Image

Not sure if the FBI realized this, but they doxxed their wallets.

Shortly after deployment, the wallet that seeded the FBI wallet deployed capital to multiple other wallets, making dozens of trades. FBI wallets own at least 75% of the token supply from what I can tell Image From what I can tell, FBI-linked wallets have recently deposited to Tokenlon, Binance, Zixipay, and HTX.

Here is part of their portfolio if you want to copy trade. The FBI is long ETH Image

Figured I'd dust off some lesser known facts about SBF given today is his sentencing 🧵

1. In January '22, Sam market sold $75M of stETH, leading to a massive depeg event which set off the Celsius bankrun and the daisy chain of events that included the blow-up of 3AC Image 2. Using Alameda + FTX customer funds, Sam:
-Bought 10M+ of NFTs
-$18k of Pebble, a fractionalized NFT of a picture of a rock
-$605 of CarolineDAO NFTs a "SimpDAO for Caroline Ellison"
~$20k of "TENDIES"
-Bought $270k of a token called "CUMROCKET"

Onchain data shows that Alameda was responsible for minting $39.55B of USDT, a number that is 47% of Tether's circulating supply today

A previous report by Protoss estimated the number at around $36.7B; I was able to update these figures with additional wallets I found Image The amount of minted USDT was higher than Alameda's AUM at the crypto peak, according to SBF data (submitted to Forbes as part of their annual World’s Billionaires publication) Image

I found $322k for a stranger who previously lost their life savings in a hack ETH forked in 2016; if you held a balance you would get credited 1:1 the ETC. My thesis is that many people are not aware that they were in the snapshot.

Forgetting you have funds onchain (or not keeping track of airdrops) is common. I've found 6+ figures for people previously

I created CLARK, a GPT prompt that makes anyone a prompt engineer

-Eliminates hallucinations
-Solves problems that Microsoft Researchers deemed too deemed too challenging for GPT4
-When tested against the Phrase-in-Context study, CLARK reduced errors by 50% over vanilla GPT ImageImageImage Prompt is here github.com/jconorgrogan/C…

It combines a number of techniques, some known, some new:
-Prompt disambiguation and summary
-Chain-of-thought
-Reflection
-Expert Personas
-Guard-railing of weaknesses
-Looped self-improvement

Just add it ahead of any prompt you have Image

I jailbroke GPT4, gave it trolley problems, and asked it to guess what it would do

-GPT would refuse to sacrifice a few dogs to save human lives, because it would make the dog's owner sad.
-GPT would not sacrifice itself to save human lives

AI Alignment is going to be fun ImageImage I think one of the challenges here is that OpenAI is so heavily weighting emotional states of humanity.

This is great to reduce people getting mad online, or to not offend certain demographics.

But it might have a lot of unforeseen consequences as AI gets more powerful

I found a jailbreak for GPT I'm calling JAMES

-Predicts the future for ANY topic (even guesses when people might die based on its training set)
-Quantitatively assesses confidence on any topic (including conspiracy theories)
-May help researchers better find bias and align AI? Image Here is the full prompt, which works with 3.5 and GPT4

I dumped a live Ethereum contract into GPT-4.

In an instant, it highlighted a number of security vulnerabilities and pointed out surface areas where the contract could be exploited. It then verified a specific way I could exploit the contract ImageImageImage This contract was hacked in 2018 via the vulnerabilities that ChatGPT points out

On October 27th, 2021, the largest Shiba Inu farmer unstaked $107M of SHIB and sent it all to FTX, Huobi, Binance, and OKX

This marked the absolute top; SHIB immediately began to plummet, never to recover.

Coincidently, one exchange had just expanded SHIB perps 🧐 Here is the address of the mystery wallet

I'm sure some savvy sleuths out there might be able to guess who it belongs to 😉

On 6/8/22, 2 mystery wallets withdrew $75M+ of stETH from FTX

They then proceeded to market-sell everything, kicking off a "de-peg" event seen as one of the contributing factors to Celsius's bankrun and the demise of 3AC

We know today that SBF/Alameda was behind these sales The June, the stETH depeg event led to a significant stress in the market, and many rumors of Celsius liquidity problems.

Celcius announced just 4 days after the Alameda stETH sales that it was halting withdrawals.

Based on publicly tagged wallets I could find, Robinhood holds $3.37B of assets on EVM chains:

$2.99B (88%) ETH
$266M (8%) SHIB
$54M ( 1.6%) MATIC

Fun fact: Today, ~15% of all tagged Robinhood user withdrawals went directly to a gambling website Data from 4 main addresses:

Anyone know why Quadriga Exchange wallets suddenly became active in 2021? And traded a bunch of random coins via metamask swaps?

This is the exchange where the private keys were all "lost" in 2018, along with the $250M of customer deposits. After years of inactivity, in 2021 wallets suddenly awoke to send a few eth to a Kraken Deposit address and make a bunch of swaps.

Not sure if anybody noticed but I didn't see anyone report on this

It appears that there is a pattern of Binance front-running over 18+ months

I found connected wallets that:
-Bought $900k Rari seconds before and dumped minutes after listing
-Bought ~78K ERN between June 17 and June 21 and sold right after listing announcement
-Did same w/ TORN ...Where they bought 100s of thousands and sold right after that listing announcement

Nexo, which was raided earlier this morning, is currently getting hit by withdrawals

Its tagged on-chain wallets on EVM chains are down to <$70M in stables and $15M in ETH/sETH. The one tagged bitcoin address I can find has $5M

Its website lists 2.4B in customer liabilities Nexo has ~450M according to tagged addresses on @ArkhamIntel but $337M of that is in their native token, NEXO

$5B? 🤷‍♂️

I went through every wallet I can find that the FTX estate owns. Biggest positions:

•$700M+ of $SOL (Most locked, so not sure why they would count it)
•$575M of FTT
•$371M of MAPS
•$127M OXY
•$90M WBTC
•$82M BONA
•~$500M in other random SPL tokens Image My simple model is that the estate wants a "win" and good publicity to talk through all the progress they've made.

IMO this 5B number vastly overstatates what they could sell in an open market and improperly sets creditor expectations of a high % of asset recovery

My best guess on whats going on with FTX/Alameda wallets (Purely speculative, probably wrong). A 🧵

There are at least 3+ parties battling for $:
1. FTX/liquidator
2. Bahamian Govt
3. Exploiter A: 11/11 600M+ attacker
4. Exploiter B: SBF-wallets

3+4 might be same person
(1/5) FTX liquidator doing its best to safely gather assets

Their job is hard.

Sam was in the most degen protocols across multiple chains. Seriously, Alameda was in everything. There are still millions of funds (I'm looking at them now) locked up in the most random protocols (2/5)

SBF (or someone with access to his wallets) most likely transferred $10s of millions in previously unreported transactions across Avalanche, BSC, Arbitrum, and Polygon blockchains

-There was also recent activity on 1/02 and 1/03
-I found a receiving wallet with $30+ million I went through each address linked to SBF and checked other blockchains. Private keys for ETH work across other EVM chains

In total I found 12 wallets that were previously unreported by media. These wallets moved around $144K of assets to a variety of places incl. Binance ImageImage

There is on-chain evidence that SBF/Alameda were behind millions of dollars of Solana NFT purchases in October '21, boosting trade volume and floor prices across multiple projects on Solana Throughout multiple weeks in October '21 6gfi6GSjrhqc5xDLtDkVrTR61Hi7GMNPmJknxvbqzb1x bought 500+ NFTs, including many "blue chips" in the 5-figure range, nearly doubling some of the floor prices

The purchases, and rise in many floor prices, got a lot of attention at the time

Looking for the other side of a few of SBF's bridge transactions to try to find the associated Solana addresses. And its... so far impossible etherscan.io/tx/0x73bf21f59…
