With every passing day, I find the news out of Ukraine more & more distressing. And while sanctions & arms & supply supports from NATO, CA, US, and other nations have been swift & unprecedented, the fact remains that Ukrainian citizens are being massacred, cities flattened.
Putin is conducting a vicious genocide, violating all conventional & moral rules about military conduct, bombing schools, maternity wards, children's hospitals, refusing to allow citizens to escape the combat zone. He is murdering indiscriminately. And the whole world stands by.

Healthcare workers are under threat because a woman named #RomanaDidulo, a QAnon cult figure who calls herself the "Queen of Canada," has urged her followers to kill anyone doing vaccinations. She's in Ottawa now, She's deluded & dangerous. And we know almost nothing about her.

Dear Canada. Zoom out and recognize that this so-called "Freedom Convoy," destabilizing our democratic discourse, is occurring as Putin jockeys to keep Ukraine from NATO, threatening war in Europe. Our PM @JustinTrudeau is the most trusted global leader, w the trust of G7 leaders
Note that the tactics of this "protest" movement is exactly the same as the Russian-funded attacks on the US democracy, with bots, cyber-disinformation, anti-vax white supremacist extremists enflamed & mobilized against the informed & moderate majority.
The unvaccinated I know IRL are women 40-65 who use organic herbal remedies, oil of oregano, tea tree, spirulina, Angel Cards & magic mushrooms. They believe Covid is real, mask with no complaints, but won’t vax because ‘Big Pharma.’ I’m exhausted trying to sway them. #GetVaxxed
These are women who KNOW they were mis-dosed bc drug test subjects didn't include women, who took birth control pills WILDY too strong. We got bloated, nauseas, then were told it was just us. Their mistrust is not unearned. Big Pharma has betrayed them down in the past.

@MisterJohnDoyle Your attack on my cast mate @SimuLiu, in the defense of my fellow Korean artist Ins Choi is neither helpful nor merited. Mr. Choi wrote the play, I was in in. He created the TV show, but his co-creator Mr. Kevin White was the showrunner, and clearly set the parameters.

About four years ago, I had an argument with the son of a friend. "There no racism against Asians!" he proclaimed. I was gobsmacked. This young man, this white young man 40 years my junior, was telling me, an Asian woman, Anti-Asian Racism doesn't exist. I'm sick of gaslighting.
I regret that @KimsConvenience didn't address Anti-Asian racism in its everyday manifestations on a more regular basis. We had a few stories - Janet's art teacher, Jung buying shoes - in early seasons. I wish we could have shown more real life stories of what it's like.

Dear Ontario, Doug Ford, Dr. M. Fullerton, Christine Elliot and Stephen Lecce have all failed us. They all chose to shortchange our 2nd wave Covid response. They failed to invest $$$ into a safe school opening, defying medical advice & best practices. 1/6
With school reopening, they did a cost-benefit analysis; and saving lives and stopping Covid DID NOT prevail over saving a few bucks. Similarly, they failed our seniors in LTCs. They passed legislation to protect private LTCs from litigation, rather than save lives. 2/6
