A majority of Medicare benes are soon expected to be enrolled in #MedicareAdvantage, but how do private plans compare to traditional Medicare? New: Higher and Faster Growing Spending Per Medicare Advantage Enrollee Adds to Medicare’s Solvency and Affordability Challenges. kff.org/medicare/issue… @jcubanski @tricia_neuman @KFF @jcubanski @tricia_neuman @KFF The analysis finds payments to Medicare Advantage plans were $321 higher per enrollee than spending by comparable beneficiaries in traditional Medicare in 2019. That led to an estimated $7 billion in additional spending in that year.
