An Illinois appellate court has again reversed the ICC’s approval of Invenergy’s Grain Belt Express transmission line.
The ICC had approved the project in 2023 under a provision in the state’s 2021 climate law specifically meant to help the project.

Commission’s acceptance of PJM’s compliance filing."
