Every single person I see posting that they've tested positive for Covid-19 talks about how careful they were and they, "got it anyway" and then is like, "we had neighbors over to our backyard and attended a baby shower, but socially distanced!" Like...please just stay home. You were not careful. You didn't just "get it anyway." You exposed yourself, unnecessarily, to groups of people (not knowing where they've been), you probably didn't wear a mask because peer pressure and then you got Covid-19. I'm just...very tired of stupid people.

Okay so this is a thing I’ve wanted to say for a bit, but after several friends experiences similar things in the past few weeks, I have to say something bc the publshing industry being what it is, querying writers just can’t complain on here. So here I am with a #querytip. When you’re querying, I always advise to reach out to authors who are currently AND formerly represented by an agent who has your full and maybe has expressed more interest than that. They’ve given a R&R or emails multiple times to update you as they’re reading. Why?
