I know I’m preaching to some members of the choir here, but lately I’ve had some interactions with non-teachers (who?) in real life (where?) and have learned that many of them don’t know that the curricular documents teachers use don’t contain actual lessons. Stay with me… The documents that get updated from time to time by various provincial governments contain overall and specific expectations for each grade and subject. By the end of a unit of study, a term, or a school year, students are expected to have demonstrated their knowledge…
