Today in prominent Bostonian news: John Kerry will be Biden's "special presidential envoy for climate" and join the National Security Council, per Biden transition team. Biden's transition team says this is the first time there will be someone focused on climate on the NSC, "reflecting the president-elect’s commitment to addressing climate change as an urgent national security issue."

NEW: I sat down with Elizabeth Warren in her kitchen this afternoon, for her first interview since exiting the presidential race. On Sanders and Biden:

"I think I would have made a better president than either one of them, that’s why I was running!" When I spoke with @ewarren earlier today, she was defiant at the idea that she is obligated to support either Sanders or Biden.

"Why would I owe anybody an endorsement?" she said. "Is that a question they asked everybody else who dropped out of this race?"
