Every time a TV writer on here says, "Showrunners check the Twitter of potential hires, so maybe be careful of how you present yourself here," a bunch of people yell about conformity & gatekeeping & yeah it's sometimes that, but mostly they're checking to see if you're a jerk.
No one's telling you not to have opinions/get political/call out bigots. They're saying if you come off like a pain in the ass who can't get along w/ others or let go of an argument, people might think you're not a good fit to exchange ideas w/others for hrs a day on a deadline.

Cats are home! VERY vocal on the ride home. They've both jumped up on me for pets but not settled on my lap. Mostly it is wandering around, making sure everything is still here & smells the same, w/ stops for drinking & eating to make sure their food & water still check out.
We have lap! Well, we had lap. Then a neighborhood kitty came to the back window and chaos ensued. But she's left now so hopefully things can calm down again.

Parents. We, the childless, love you. We love your kids. We see how hard all of this is. We (or at least I) can acknowledge your quarantine is harder than ours. It's just, three times this week I've seen, out of nowhere, "Childless people don't know how easy the have it."
And always, "Childless people don't know our challenges, because nobody talks about it." Except you do talk about it. A lot. Even pre-pandemic. You tell us we don't know what hard is, or tired is. You might be right. But it is DEFINITELY not something that nobody talks about.

Look I get loving your fave, but if you are seriously saying, "If my dude who is currently polling at an avg of 15% isn't the nominee I will not vote for anyone else, so enjoy Trump 2020," you're a monster who is willing to sacrifice the poor & marginalized for your hissy fit.
Taking an uncompromising stand for your principles only makes you a hero if you're not leveraging the well-being of those w/ less advantages than you to make your point. People have died b/c of this administration. If you stay home in 2020 you're willingly enabling more.
