Disappointing there is not a clear signal in this announcement for plans around electrification. USPS delivery vehicles are at the top of the list in terms of suitability for electrification (both cost and range).

Take aways from 5 hours of public and Board comment:

1. Communities impacted by truck pollution want more electric trucks and faster. People came in from all across the state to speak up. A tweet can’t describe the power they brought to the Board meeting. cc @CAgovernor 2. The level of engagement on this proposal is through the roof. Community, health, climate groups across the board want a stronger standard. Just shows that this really is one of the most important policies in the world being considered for transportation.
