@Prokofy @RustyRoad @Liv_Boeree Well, I can't take credit for this idea -- it's a variation on what's called 'Roko's Basilisk,' which is itself a kind of retrocausal thought-experiment in how 'future AGI' makes itself inevitable (by this idea scaring everyone into being an accelerator) ... @Prokofy @RustyRoad @Liv_Boeree ... and I guess, given the OP here, it's also a variation on the game theory idea of a 'Moloch Trap.'

Working with a kid to set up a new laptop. Even very advanced, tech-oriented kids are completely at sea with what's required to take ownership of a system. Set all data-sharing to 'off.' Opt out of everything you can. Uninstall all the bloatware and malware. Install ...1/ ... antivirus, etc. Install apps. Hook up apps to their dependencies. Log into arcane push-notification jazz. Idea: Would there be any appeal to a corporate short course (held outside of office hours) in Managerial or Agile Team Dynamics/Roles, held via Discord (chat/voice server) and in the e-sports combat game Overwatch?
