To avoid being unable to cross an intersection where bikes are undetectable by the vehicle sensors that change the traffic lights, the @CityofSaskatoon Transportation Dept suggested that I go 400m further to cross Wanuskewin at Marquis where there are pedestrian lights. 1/5
This would mean crossing Marquis, 2 slip lanes, an intersection, and a business approach on the Marquis multi-use trail--where drivers won't expect cyclists to be--just to end up at an intersection to cross Marquis again where there are...also no pedestrian or cycle lights. 2/5
