COVID-19 is not always a death sentence, but there is always a price to pay.
It might be financial hardship/bankruptcy to pay the treatment bill for yourself or a family member. It might be the loss of your job because you are sick, or the business was shut down.

If you are the caretaker, you may need to leave your job and income to care for a loved one.
It might be long lasting physical health care problems, such as stroke, blood clots, amputation, lung damage/failure, kidney failure, heart damage to name just a few effects.
