Overwhelmed by the positive response on my #pico8 Wind Waker scene, here's a behind the scenes thread on how it works.

First up, wireframe view: As can be seen in the previous gif, the water doesn't actually move. Instead I scroll the texture. No need to move stuff around in 3D unless you have to.
