A panel led by a former chief justice has said that there is enough evidence for MPs to impeach President Cyril Ramaphosa in relation to a saga involving buffalo, a Sudanese businessman and a cash-stuffed sofa

I spent last week in Zimbabwe. It was my fourth trip in a year. The mood was the darkest I had encountered so far, and for good reason. We’ll have a piece up soon but a brief thread. A fair bit of reporting is being in the right place at the right time. And luck. Flew into Harare this morning to do some reporting on the economy. Stopped to chat to drivers at a petrol station near the airport. There was fuel and the queue was moving. But the mood was dark. “What we are facing now we last faced in 2008”, said one man.
