The mayor of Akron and Akron PD are pushing a narrative in the media that protesters were unruly and violent. Well I was there and this video is a clip from my live. We were peacefully protesting on a street the city blocked FOR US to protest on when they tear gassed us [thread] This was after earlier provocation when they lit up a “blue stripe” on the Akron PD as soon as it got dark. Where is the OUTRAGE from white America regarding the terrorist attack in Buffalo? Where is the “CRT out of schools” outrage? Where is the “not everything is about race” outrage? Where is the “all lives matter” outrage? Since everyone is debating NOW our presence/continued presence in Afghanistan. Let me tell you a story from when I was on deployment in Afghanistan as a soldier. Trigger warning this story contains death. We were in Kandahar, southern Afg, and one day a civilian truck got hit /1 By an IED (a roadside bomb). The truck was carrying in it fruit and the fruit went everywhere. The driver of the truck was an Afghan National and so we believe the detonation was an accident. But the fruit from the truck was strewn all over the road and the truck was blocking /2

Thread Tamir Rice, 12 years old, was playing with a TOY GUN at the park with his friends when a cop showed up and MURDERED him in less than 10 seconds upon arrival. He was NOT listed on the record as “unarmed”.
