Thread 🧵: For at least the past two weeks, the DeSantis campaign’s social media surrogates have attempted to lay the groundwork for their candidate’s inevitable, embarrassing departure from the GOP primary contest.
Instead of acknowledging their candidate’s many unforced errors, they’ve chosen to postulate all sorts of conspiracy theories that blame everyone but him for the demise of his campaign.
“The DeSantis campaign was WELL RUN, but the mean, unfair media, the indictments, Vivek, etc., all got in the way."
Below are what I consider the top 7 unforced errors of the “perfectly well-run campaign”:
Number 1: FIRST IMPRESSIONS MATTER
As a Trump supporter, I can acknowledge that Trump’s 2024 campaign launch was lowkey, dry, and boring compared to 2016. It left me and many others asking, “Is this going to be a more toned-down Trump?” However, it wasn’t an off-putting or negative first impression. It was just, “Meh. Ok. Whatever.”
DeSantis saw this as an opportunity to reject the traditional campaign launch format and took the unnecessary risk of delving into uncharted territory to set himself apart as “bold, young, and energetic” by announcing his launch on an untested, still-in-beta "Twitter space" with Elon Musk. Instead, DeSantis gave the first impression of being “unserious, disorganized, and scripted.”

🧵Thread: The Cardillo Files
A few days ago, I compared the length of John Cardillo’s @johncardillo lawsuit record to a CVS receipt, but it turns out that it may be even longer. The following is a list of all the times Cardillo has been sued in Florida and New York.
Alex Barsel et al., v Sentinel Tech Holding Corp and John Cardillo as an Individual.
Judgement against Cardillo in the amount of $20,736.
Further judgement against Cardillo in the amount of $118,678.
THREAD 🧵In recent years, it's likely that you've encountered social media posts claiming to be from grassroots Gen-Z influencers who are only passionate about promoting policy change without any financial incentive.
We'll delve into the legitimacy of these assertions by examining the relationships between several of these influencers & both the Democratic National Committee and a non-profit organization called "The Institute for Youth in Policy." This thread is based on public information.

Will the "Real" Bryson Gray @RealBrysonGray please stand up? A thread 🧵Since 2020, Gray, a self-admitted former Democrat and then Bernie supporter, underwent a dramatic shift in his political views, becoming a vociferous supporter of President Trump during his administration.
The merging and culmination of Gray’s political shift came with his musical career ambitions came with the release of his album “MAGA ain’t got no color” in 2020. It features songs with the titles “45”, “Trump is your president”, “MAGA Boy”, and “Pro Life, Pro God, Pro-Trump”.
