It’s the first Mercury day of 2026,

Consider this: A SuperMoon occurs when the Moon is closer to Earth than usual, appearing larger and brighter in our sky. Because of this proximity, SuperMoons often intensify whatever a Full Moon is already trying to reveal or release. And with this one in Taurus, the sign that governs safety, comfort, stability, and financial grounding, many of us are becoming even more aware of where we feel vulnerable or unsupported. Especially now, as our so-called
"leaders" continue stripping away resources and safety nets from the very people they claim to serve.

We’re building toward a Full Moon in Aries on Monday evening and it’s illuminating the necessity of courage right now. This Full Moon reminds us that courage isn’t the absence of fear: it’s the willingness to recognize the perils of fascism closing in all around us, and still choosing to act as if our lives depend on it. Because they do.

Consider this: Aries is a cardinal fire sign ruled by Mars, the planet of drive, conflict, and decisive action. Cardinal energy pushes us to move first, to act from instinct. Right now, Mars is in Scorpio - the other sign it rules - and it’sgiving us a clue about how to act. Scorpio Mars teaches us that courage must be strategic. That resistance requires coordination. We’re one week away from the final eclipse of 2025: a Solar eclipse {New Moon} in Virgo. Eclipses always mark fated beginnings and endings, but the September eclipses have made something undeniable: there is no “return to normal.” That illusion
collapsed long ago.

Consider this: A solar eclipse is an astronomical event that happens when the Moon moves in between the Earth and the Sun, obscuring the light of the Sun and creating a blanket of darkness here on Earth. In ancient times, our Ancestors associated eclipses with omens, and they interpreted solar eclipses specifically to mean the rise and fall of prominent leaders. Because eclipses obscure the light and illuminate the darkness, we can often experience revelations and epiphanies about the shadowy aspects of the sign that’s being eclipsed. So now, let’s deep-dive Virgo a bit.

There’s a Full Moon in Aquarius happening tonight, and it’s casting a bright light on the deep spiritual exhaustion so many of us are carrying. The exhaustion of bearing witness to horrific genocides; the exhaustion of watching world “leaders” and media outlets respond with apathy, cowardice, and calculated silence. What do we do when we know a revolution is needed, but the revolutionary within us feels depleted?

Consider this: This Full Moon is ruled by Saturn, who is currently retrograde and conjunct {close to} Neptune - also retrograde- in the fiery sign of Aries. This is spiritual exhaustion, plain and simple. Saturn wants to build, Neptune wants to dream, but both are moving backwards in a sign that usually charges forward. No wonder so many of us feel like our inner fire is flickering. Like we’re too tired to believe. Too worn down to imagine.

There’s a Full Moon in Capricorn happening today that’s illuminating the tension many of us are feeling around not having a concrete plan, especially as so many outdated and archaic structures continue to crumble around us. We are living through the slow implosion of late-stage capitalism, and this Full Moon is bringing that reality into even sharper focus.

Consider this: This Full Moon is ruled by Saturn in Aries. Saturn is the planet of limitations, restrictions, and time. Capricorn is a cardinal earth sign and it signifies many things: long-term planning, responsibility, governance, and legacy. Typically, a Full Moon in Capricorn is a time to check in with our goals and assess whether we’re on track to meet them. But this one is far from typical.

There’s a partial solar eclipse in Aries happening tomorrow {3/29/25} and it’s a significant one. On a collective level, the Aries eclipses that have been happening over the past 2 years have coincided with worldwide escalations colonial violence. And as a result, these past two years have also compelled many of us to look within and ask some big questions: what actions can we take in the face of a global fascist takeover? What role does the individual self have to play in collective liberation?

Consider this: Tomorrow’s Aries solar eclipse is the final and culminating eclipse in the Aries - Libra eclipse cycle that first began roughly two years ago. The first eclipse in this cycle was the solar eclipse in Aries that happened back on April 19th, 2023. Solar eclipses are also New Moons, and a New Moon is typically a time for us to plant seeds of intention, but solar eclipses are times when the Universe initiates changes in our lives that we may or may not be ready for. Because Aries is a cardinal fire sign that deals with the self, inner-sovereignty, courage and leadership, on the most basic level, it might be helpful to first reflect on how your sense of self and individuality has transformed over these last two years.

There’s a Lunar Eclipse in Virgo happening tomorrow that’s ushering in a new era of experiences for us both individually and collectively. Lunar eclipses are also Full Moons, and typically a Full Moon signifies a time of monthly culmininations/ endings/ release, but tomorrow’s Lunar eclipse in Virgo is the first eclipse we’ve had in Virgo since 2016, so there’s a seed being planted that has significant implications for us all.

Consider this: Eclipses always occur in a pair of signs, and for roughly the two past years, we’ve been having eclipses oscillate between the signs of Libra and Aries. Now with the transit North Node in Pisces and the South Node in Virgo, we’re going to be experiencing eclipses in Pisces and Virgo for the next 18 months. Eclipses initiate big changes in our lives, and we experience these changes over the ensuing 18 month period. Tomorrow’s Virgo Lunar eclipse will be the first of several Virgo eclipses we’ll be experiencing, {the next Virgo eclipse will be on September 21st, 2025}.

The first New Moon of 2025 is peaking tomorrow {Wednesday} at 7:35am EST and it’s making space for us to meditate on our relationship to community. We’re living amidst a global fascist takeover, so it’s never been more important to seek out communal spaces, (both online and in real-life), that reflect the values we hold dear.

Consider this: Aquarius is a fixed air sign that deals with innovation, technology and our collective ideals. This New Moon in Aquarius is significant because it’s the first one we’ve had since Pluto permanently moved into Aquarius last November 19th, and where it will stay until 2044. It’s been said many times before and it needs to continue to be echoed that Pluto in Aquarius signifies revolution, because the last time Pluto was in Aquarius was 1778-1798, and that was the time of the American, French and Haitian revolutions.

The last Full Moon of 2024 is happening tomorrow {12/15} and it’s a Full Moon in Gemini that’s peaking at 4:01am ET. This Full Moon in many ways is the perfect encapsulation of the year: it’s simultaneously activating a deep desire within us to process what has happened and also intensifying feelings of confusion about where we’re going.

Consider this: There’s a strong emphasis during this Full Moon on the mutable signs of the zodiac. Gemini is a mutable air sign that deals with many things and chief among them are the complexities of how information is researched, processed and shared. Mercury - the planet of communication - is the ruling planet of Gemini, and thus the ruler of this Full Moon. For the past few weeks, Mercury has been retrograde in mutable Sagittarius, which has been making space for us to introspect on any new truths {Sagittarius} that have been coming to light in the Sagittarius section of our charts. Mercury will be ending its retrograde on the day of the Full Moon, which indicates that there’s some forward-moving mental clarity that’s awaiting us, but there are still some obstacles standing in the way.

There’s a New Moon in Scorpio arriving tomorrow on the 1st day of November and it’s not hyperbole to say that it’s bringing with it profound transformations on a personal and a collective level. The implications of these transformations are complicated and require some unpacking so let’s get to it.

Consider this: For the past several weeks, Pluto - the planet of transformation, rebirth, secrecy and death - has been sitting in the final degree of Capricorn. When planets sit in the final degree of a sign - also known as the anaretic degree - they create a destabilizing effect on the significations of the sign that it’s in. Because Capricorn represents authority, government, and top-down power structures, it’s one of the reasons why our collective distrust of our political “leaders” has never felt greater.

There’s a Solar Eclipse in Libra peaking today at 2:45pm EST and the build-up to it has been playing a major role in the escalating violence / chaos we’ve been witnessing around the world. Solar eclipses are also New Moons, and typically a New Moon is a time for us to consciously plant new seeds, but a solar eclipse is a time to surrender and see what the Universe will be initiating and ending for us.

Consider this: This Libra solar eclipse has “major endings” deeply imprinted in its energy. For starters, this is the final eclipse of 2024. This is also the last eclipse that will be occurring in the Libra section of our charts for roughly the next 9 years. (And yes, you have Libra in your chart even if Co-star doesn’t have it listed). Eclipses are destabilizing events that often disrupt the significations of the sign they’re happening in. Libra is a cardinal air sign that signifies balance, harmony, justice, contracts, and relationships. The first Libra eclipse happened last October 14th, 2023, the second was on March 24, 2024 and the one happening today will mark the end of a chapter that began last year. It can’t be overstated how much of a role these Libra eclipses have played in destabilizing relationships, alliances, balance and justice on both a personal and global level.

There’s a partial Lunar Eclipse happening today at 10:35pm EST that’s also a Full Moon in Pisces. Typically, a Full Moon is a time within the month of heightened activity that gives us an opportunity to shift the areas of our lives being illuminated by the Full Moon. However, this dynamic changes during a Full Moon eclipse - because instead of us deciding what we may want to shift - the Universe and the Fates step in and shift things for us.

Consider this: For the past 18 months, we’ve been having eclipses in the signs of Aries and Libra, which means that the houses that contain Aries and Libra in our own charts, (and the life topics associated with those houses), have been the areas within our lives where the Fates have been operating. Today’s Pisces eclipse is significant because it marks a shift in our eclipse story: for roughly the next two years, we’re going to be experiencing eclipses oscillating between Pisces and Virgo, so whichever houses contain Pisces and Virgo in your own chart, these will be the new areas of focus in your life where Spirit will be rearranging the furniture.

Consider this: The upcoming Lunar eclipse will be happening in Pisces, and since Jupiter is the planet that rules Pisces, we say that Jupiter is the ruler of the upcoming eclipse. Jupiter is the planet of expansion, hope, spiritual truth-seeking, and abundance. Over the weekend, Jupiter - who is currently in Gemini- will be forming a trine aspect with Venus, who is currently in her home sign of Libra. The trine is arguably the most favorable aspect that can happen between two planets in astrology, so it feels like the Universe is inviting us to steep ourselves in this beautiful energy as the ruler of this upcoming eclipse {Jupiter} forms a trine with the planet of love, relationships, creativity and the divine feminine {Venus}.

Leo rules the heart and it signifies leadership and authenticity, and at a time in which so many of us have been greatly disappointed by the “leaders” within our respective governments, this New Moon is making space for us to embody a new paradigm of leadership that centers Love and compassion instead of greed and domination.

Consider this: Leo is a fixed fire sign, and fire signs thrive when taking action and initiating things. Fixed energy has the strength to persevere through trying circumstances. The New Moon is typically a time within the month to plant new seeds and to create new intentions, but this Leo New Moon is unique because Mercury will be stationing retrograde in Virgo on the day of the New Moon. Full Moons often represent endings, so in many ways, this Full Moon is encapsulating the ending of the Jupiter in Taurus cycle that began last year on May 16th 2023. For the past year, Jupiter has been expanding and bringing new truths / wisdom into our consciousness about the things we truly value in our lives. This lunar eclipse is also a Full Moon in Libra, and because both lunar eclipses and Full Moons signify culminations/ endings, we can expect that there will be some dynamic realizations about what needs to change within our relationships {Libra} during this eclipse season.
 
Consider this: Eclipses occur when the Earth, Moon and Sun all get in alignment with one another in the sky. In the case of a lunar eclipse, the Earth moves in between the Moon and the Sun, casting a shadow over the face of the Moon. Usually, the Full Moon is a time within the month in which we have an opportunity to shed and release whatever is being illuminated by the Sun, but because the light of the Sun is obscured during a lunar eclipse, what gets revealed to us are often feelings that live in the more shadowy aspects of our being like our subconscious mind.  A lunar eclipse is less about what we consciously want to release, and has more to do with what the Universe is telling us we need to let go of for our highest good.
