Breaking: In a 73-page ruling, a federal judge has denied @RepMTG's bid for a restraining order to block legal action to remove her from the November ballot as an "insurrectionist" disqualified from office by the 14th Amendment. int.nyt.com/data/documentt… The US District Judge Amy Totenberg ruled strongly that the 1872 Amnesty Act, which allowed most confederates back into Congress, did NOT apply prospectively to future insurrectionists, as a judge in N.C. ruled when a similar case against @RepCawthorn died in federal court.
