Roger Stone has slapped an addendum onto his longstanding talking points that says anyone who disagrees w his politics are not Christians

"The two parties are dominated by neocons, by globalists, by those who have turned from the Lord," Stone said.

Tucker Carlson attacked me on his show tonight to try to preempt this piece BEFORE it had even been published. news.yahoo.com/does-tucker-ca… I texted with Tucker the last few days to ask him questions about his "Patriot Purge" special. I asked him if he thought his words could be interpreted as encouraging violence.I went back and checked my notes on what he'd said. Again, this is BEFORE the piece has been published

i compiled a list of all the times that Trump made statements repeating his lies about a rigged election, and the evidence supports Kinzinger's view here, contra the narrative told by @ByronYork that Cheney wouldn't stop bringing up Jan. 6 Cheney didn't change. What changed since the last leadership vote on Feb. 3 was Trump began to ramp up the same lies about the 2020 election that resulted in death, destruction and an assault on democracy on Jan. 6. news.yahoo.com/cheney-strippe…

Maybe I've missed it but i have not heard the global competition with autocratic nations, mainly China, used as an implicit argument against the filibuster, as Biden just did. this is the comment I was referring to, & the fact that it wasn't in his prepared remarks is all the more interesting:

I watched the last 2 hours inside the chamber again. Some observations.

When van der Veen first mentioned Raskin had objected to 2016 results certification, Sen. Marshall nodded his head enthusiastically and smiled. He responded this way to several points. Sen. Todd Young nodded very vigorously when Schoen said that the media had never played Trump's full remarks about Charlottesville in 2017. Young was looking over at Democrats much of the time as video clips were played.

I watched the first 2 hours of arguments inside the Senate chamber. The mood was very heavy & somber. Senators were slack-jawed during the opening video montage. And they were deeply moved by Raskin's closing speech. A number came to thank him, mostly Democrats but Cotton as well During the video, Gillibrand held her right hand on her forehead, elbow on desk, & seemed to sink lower & lower. A young staffer seemed to be breathing heavily. Capito wiped something from her eyes. Only Sen who I could see who didn't watch much of it was Rubio, who was reading

What a quote

“I don’t get it,” the president said, venting confusion and frustration. “All these other Republicans, all over the country, they all win their races. And I’m the only guy that loses?”

Here’s a statement on the Giuliani presser today from @BenSasse, who somehow is still somewhat alone — with a few exceptions — in the GOP in speaking out honestly and forthrightly about what’s happening. Btw I've emailed the spokespersons for all 53 Republican senators TWICE today: once about Trump's pressure campaign on Michigan to block certifying its results, & once on the Reuters story about dragging things out so legislatures can overturn the election. 3 responses ...

So we need to educate people: you do need the Postal Service to receive your mail-in or absentee ballot but you do NOT need the Postal Service to deliver, ie vote, that same ballot. Can return to local elections office any time, or an in person early voting location, or drop box Not every state has drop boxes, but every state has local elections offices, and all but 5 have early voting. If you want to get your ballot well ahead of the election, vote it at your leisure, and then return it in person without waiting in line, choose one of those 3 options

For Joe Biden "think about it" is the new "literally" A young woman asks Biden "How do you explain the performance in Iowa and why should the voters believe that you can win a national election?"

Biden's response: "You ever been to a caucus?"

Woman says yes.

Biden: "No you haven’t. You’re a lying dog-faced pony soldier."

I was in Senate chamber during the reading of the articles of impeachment. Here is a little bit of color for those of you who were watching on TV. The Senate chamber was deathly quiet as Schiff read the articles, a process that went on for 15 minutes. (1) All senators listened intently, but note-taking was far more prominent among the Democrats. A large number of Democratic senators busily scribbled notes as Schiff spoke, while most Republican senators sat still, listening. (2)
