In this mini thread back in November - I tried to get into what I thought was facing the EBU and SVT coming into this #Eurovision season and some of the risks I saw in their strategy. It’s a bad hand to be dealt for sure, but personally I think they’ve mishandled and bungled it.
Their communication is becoming increasingly distant: freezing out journalists and fan media as they push for a ‘professionalisation’ through a deeply aggressive corporate strategy around the #Eurovision brand. They then whacked values in - without really thinking it through.
