A thread 🧵 on everything I learned from doing #engineering (BTech) in India:
1. Grades don't matter in CS/AI. If you know how to code the playing field is flat for you. If you are from any other branch & don't get placement, finding a job is going to be tough with a low cgpa. 2. Indian professors are generally bad. This is because in India teaching is a means to make money, not to pass down wisdom.
I have lost count of how many bad professors I have met in my engineering life.
