Really proud that both @TheEconomist and @nytimes featured our @AtlanticCouncil research this week on the growth of China’s CIPS system since the beginning of the war in Iran. I know there is a lot of debate about the significance of this data so here is our case: 2/ CIPS experienced a 100% surge in volume in early April compared to a month prior based on daily observations. The network topped total transactions valued at over 1.2 trillion RMB for the first time - at least as far as we have data available.
