The court claims a right to abortion is not "deeply rooted in this Nation’s history and tradition."

Is that true? I searched 18th century newspapers because I wanted to learn how people really felt about abortion at America's founding.

Answer: they *loved* abortion. Thread! 🧵 How much would you guess that people in the 1770s used the word "abortion"?

I guessed zero. I was wrong! They talked about abortion ALL THE TIME in early America.

They talked about both
1.) literal abortion, and
2.) abortion as a metaphor

This woman is literally the product of abortion. She is working to make her own conception (via IVF) illegal and she's not even capable of being honest about it. IVF involves destroying human zygotes in a lab. Slama is working on a law to outlaw exactly this "from fertilization" on. This *clearly* includes IVF.

Yet, somehow she thinks it won't impact IVF, and she does not want it to. The real point is to control women, and she knows it.

The Supreme Court thinks it knows what's best for you Image They think they know who you should marry, who you should be allowed to have sex with, and what you should do with you body

I was a Planned Parenthood volunteer patient escort from 2009 to 2011 in Nebraska. Here's some of the stuff I saw:

The Catholic church purchased the house next door to the clinic. They called the house a church for tax purposes, but really it was a fake health clinic. They would flag cars obviously trying to drive to Planned Parenthood into the "church" driveway instead, then make it hard for them to leave. They tried to seem like a medical clinic, misleading the patent for as long as possible into thinking they could get an abortion there.
