What an amazing day at #config2020! Thanks so much to @nlevin, @torihinn, @mwichary, @tonigemayel, @jenny_wen, @negativespaceca, et al @figmadesign for putting on such a great event.

I spoke about naming design systems, the talk I wish had existed when I was starting out. In 2017, when I was first researching this problem, I learned there were two distinct approaches to naming design systems: utilitarian design systems names and fun design systems names.

It's 2019 and everything is a trashfire but I'm starting to see a really lovely resurgence of interesting and thoughtfully executed personal websites*, so I'm starting a thread to keep track of them all.

*Bonus points if the personal website is also a blog. My favorite personal site of late is definitely @TatianaTMac's. I especially, especially love her speaking section, where future events are styled as tickets and past events are styled as stamps.
