In the spat between Metro @wmata & its regulator @MetrorailSafety last week, Metro said it hadn’t reduced training for train operators. Transit officials said they had just tweaked what was required because of a train shortage. 1/ Metro acknowledged publicly their one flaw was not documenting this training change in their policies or manuals. But Metro still hasn’t — & isn’t planning to, according to a letter from @MetrorailSafety. Metro has indicated they are making no changes at all to training. 2/
