Badvel being undr Hande Demappa who was loyalist of Rayas. I remember reading how His father who switched side conquered the nearby areas of Udyagiri. This might explain how Demappa got these territories(2/n)

Let's kill this myths with facts, inscriptions, and plain logic.(1/n) Ayyanavaṁśacarita: A Modern Sanskrit Forgery

Among the most brazen examples of historical forgery is the "Ayyanavaṁśacarita", a Sanskrit poem designed to falsely insert a Maratha noble Sabaji Rao Chalukya into the ancient Badami Chalukya dynasty's lineage.(pic 1-3)

The text also falsely forges a dynastic link from Mangalesha to Tailapa II, which no contemporary inscription supports.
