"Amendment 39 specifically relates to men who are applying for a GRC who have been charged with a sexual offence, but have not yet been convicted and placed on the sex offenders register. It simply seeks to pause an application for a GRC until any court case has been resolved"

The UN Special Rapporteur on Violence Against Women and Girls will give evidence to the EHRCJ Committee on Monday. The Committee will also hear from the UN Independent Expert on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity - for a second time.

Fascinating piece on Dentons (law firm) recent report on self-id, which argues children should be allowed to change legal gender without involving medical professionals or parents, & the state should take 'action' against parents who attempt to intervene. rollonfriday.com/news-content/d…
The report advises activists to 'tie campaigning to more popular reform' that acts as a 'veil of protection', & to avoid public campaigning/press exposure, given a lack of public understanding. Plus pesky TERFs are being platformed in the debate. In other words, avoid scrutiny.
