A respectful conversation on what we've learned and what we haven't regarding some of the actions taken regarding Covid responses. ..2 2/ In about the last 20 minutes the discussion talks about the rancor vitriol and divisiveness that is being driven and how it is contributing to divisiveness and loss of trust in science. ..3

Love listening to Dr. Ned @nedaamani -- all doctors and patients should see this video

Watch "The Health Care Centre of the Future, Today!" on YouTube 2/ If this was the norm for health care centres, we could be preventing /recovering from much of the 80% of chronic disease that is preventable. Healthcare would save so much money. It's why these need to be funded as real medicine, to use a phrase that a very smart friend uses.

1/n On RA and naturopathy:

I was diagnosed with RA by a rheumatologist. I checked all the boxes and was put on an Rx cocktail. For life.

I then went to a naturopath. Over a few years, we spent a lot of time together. I learned a lot about myself. I learned a lot about the 2/ impact of lifestyle on our physical health, including food, stress, life experience, etc. She talked about a combination of Rx for symptoms as prescribed, along with not giving up on improving my health. I became an empowered patient.

1/9 A rant on why we need to #ReviveMedicine

I am very concerned about the state of medicine for patients and doctors alike. The BUSINESS of medicine has stolen the concepts of both health AND care from our healthcare systems. 2/9
I was just sent this article by a doctor. Whether you're a doctor, a science-type, a patient, or a curious onlooker, I hope reading it pisses you off. It pissed me off.

Is it any wonder that doctors are discouraged? Is it any wonder that patients are losing trust? Quickly.

Pharma intern: There seem to be a lot of cases of people being harmed by OUR products.

Supervisor: OUR studies indicate they help some people. We can't be distracted by ANECDOTES. Those patients are probably committing LOGICAL FALLACY. Or some other cool name. Ignore them. Pharma Intern: There seem to be a lot of cases of other safer and more effective health approaches.

Supervisor: OUR studies indicate they help some people. We can't be distracted by ANECDOTES. Marketing will handle the distractions.

I've had a few people suggest to me that we should try to get this targeted hit piece retracted. It is very misrepresentative of CAM practitioners as well as patients that utilize CAM. How do we stop this targeted behavior? Letters to the editor a good start. 2/ Before blocking, Jonathan asked what the retraction should be based on? I'll add notes below.

Here's the article:
