To the freezing in Nashville: Do you know that only SEVEN outages are being worked on right now? And it’s not even the largest seven. NES doesn’t have the resources/processes in place to handle more than a handful of outages. 834 outages have no one assigned to them.

Here’s a thread outlining what I’ve found out so far 🧵: People were texting me that NES crews were in various parking lots doing nothing and when asked why, the crews said they were waiting for assignments. So I started digging in. Turns out, NES is being cute with their language and saying that crews are “in the field” and that just means out and waiting (in parking lots apparently). It does NOT mean that the crews are working on an outage.
