An update ... back in December, I shared a thread about how, in 1994, I had students reach out to Watergate participants and ask: What lessons should we learn?

Then last week, I shared again one letter in particular that spoke to what we've been seeing -- from Archibald Cox. Cox, a special prosecutor during Watergate, said this was the key: "...we should be reminded of the corrupt influence of great power, especially when the power is in the hands of someone who is willing to resort to any tactics, however wrong, to retain and increase his power."
