Used to be a pro at this. Trick is to select a wedding large enough that you'll fly under the radar. Dress nothing too fancy and have an envelope with the couple's name written (info will be on the banners outside). Be the long lost college friend from the groom's side, or even better the brother of the said friend. Trick is to smile in a general direction but not at anyone and sneak your way into a photo or two. Go to the food stalls straight but don't eat yet..

How to write a detective show:

1. Hero: Main detective, a bit of an oddball, emotional wreck, has chronic problems with their partner or love, bonus with a neglected child. Has a substance abuse problem and doesn't defer to authority. Everyone is against the hero. 2. Sidekick: Doubts the hero and but has irrational urge to be with them until they have a point of revelation where they start worshipping them. Personal life also suffers, Bonus: always shot or maimed towards the end.
