2 years ago I lived on the 16th floor of a high rise building in Dnipro, Ukraine. 2 years ago today, I woke up at around 6am and opened my twitter account to find out Russia had invaded Ukraine. (1) I remember having this sinking feeling. As in I felt my heart physically drop to my feet. I remember looking outside and seeing military everywhere. It’s really hard to explain (2)

We had an opportunity to speak to @CBC regarding the issue of KROK 2 and students being asked to return to Ukraine in order to write this exam. CBC were able to facilitate an interview with the Ministry of Health, specifically the people responsible for the Krok exam (1) Despite the Ministry of Health being responsible for the directive of Krok 2 they blamed the universities and students for students being asked to return to Ukraine. It was a very interesting interview to say the least. (2)

I have an urgent appeal for a group of students who are in a dire situation and are in need of legal help 🙏🏾 African and Asian Kyiv Medical School students who were instructed to come to Poland by KMU were detained for ten hours and then imprisoned despite having the documents provided to them by the university to enter the country.
