Okay so, I love that WotC reworked dragonborn for Fizban's. Anyone who's played a lot of 5e knows the dragonborn in the PHB is pretty lacking.
That being said, the design they presented shows their work against bio-essentialist tropes in their game is only surface deep.
*sigh*, this is gonna be contentious... and it requires a bit of a nuanced dive to understand. I hope you're willing to read with an open mind.
