Someone once asked me why I did conference talks. It was a day after my first training, on/after which I was super tired, so all I could imagine for an answer would be simply "sharing knowledge" and getting more recognition in the community (which was a suggested answer). 1/5 After some time and giving a few more talks, I actually have an answer that I'd give with a clear conscience. I'm not giving talks about things I'm not excited about, so when I go on stage to share some knowledge it's always about something I personally like and think is cool
