Sigh.

QA is game dev.

Yes, it's a semantic argument. I used to do a lot of semantic arguing in high school and college debate.

Give me a semantic definition that both (1) doesn't include QA and (2) doesn't beg the question.

I'll wait. You can't. Because if you start trying to define the game as something other than the holistic final product, you exclude other devs too.

Gameplay impacting decisions only? Bye artists and live ops engineers.

Personal output ends up in the final product? Bye production.

Okay. Long thread. Mute if you don't want to hear some reality about Bitcoin. THREAD Unbanked people.

Some Bitcoin advocates say crypto is great for people living under semi-failed states where the currency is in free fall due to corruption.

It's important to realize that this is called a "safe haven investment" as is only one aspect of a "currency."

Lots of special guests at @pylusd school board, so seats are all together. I get to overhear all the people who are talking about how the military have a weapon that concentrates 5G waves and that’s what caused all the burns in diplomats in Cuba.

Welcome to the banners! All the red shirts are gone. Now just here in mixed clothes.

Guess passing a CRT ban means you’re no longer proud to display your anti vax status.

Being "one of the good ones" isn't enough. Here's a thread for men about what's been made clear to me the last few days. THREAD A lot of what's come out I didn't know. But even for those, I could've known. A dear friend asked me "you've been on Team 2 forever. How could you not know?"

I love Terran’s work, and I wish I interacted with him more at work, but I want to use this tweet to talk briefly about identity and game dev, at least as I see it. This is the first software job I’ve ever wanted. I mean something very particular here: I’ve wanted to be employed, and I’ve wanted to program, but working at Blizzard is the first job I’ve ever had that I really wanted above other programming gigs.
