Over 6yrs, I was turned down for 3 different jobs at Microsoft after all-day interviews in Redmond, Irvine & Foster City.
Was almost rejected for a 4th when I re-sent a rewritten resume & left VMs for 4 mgrs.
During those 6yrs I worked for 2 other companies, had 3 different jobs & kept getting more experience in IT, development, corporate policy, & expanded my range of skills. I learned from experienced mentors, went to conferences, took classes, & passed 8 certification exams.

This is almost enough for me to drop the money for a Surface Duo. List Outlook emails on the left screen, read the selected Outlook email on the right screen. Just like on Outlook desktop.
And this participate in a Teams meeting on the left screen while you send/read/receive/write Outlook emails or take OneNote notes on the right screen is super compelling.

I saw some folks complaining about overzealous/maniacal animal adoption 'lunatics' that carry the "adopt-don't-shop" flag a bit too forcefully/aggressively & I thought I'd take a second to explain this behavior, not to excuse it but to help ppl understand why they're like this.
Imagine you went to the city animal shelter & saw an adorable 5yo dog. His owner from birth passed away & there was no one to give him a new home. He's house-trained, knows how to fetch, great w/ ppl & very affectionate.
... you come back the next day and he's been euthanized.
