Alex Smith is speaking to the media now. Said he felt "a lot different" than when he replaced Allen during the Rams game in Week 5. Said like he's gotten in a lot of work over these past few weeks and has felt better and better. Smith says the second interception is "the one that really hurts." He said he tried to make a play but threw it late, which resulted in the game-ending interception.

"You can't throw it late over the middle. That's football 101."
