If you're planning to social distance for a couple of weeks, maybe you're wondering what you need to stock up on? Making a preparedness kit for the first time can be overwhelming, but in Houston, we do it every late summer / early fall for hurricane season, so I have a few tips:
1. consider buying regular groceries for one week, but double your family's high-use items (2 dozen eggs, 2 gallons of milk, 2 loaves of bread, etc.), + some frozen meals (in our house this is pizza, lasagna, various nuggets, frozen fruit, etc)...
