It took me awhile to realize, but people pay to get rid of unsexy and boring chores off their plate. People pay for JIRA cos they hate chasing up people and tracking progress, they pay for Xero cos balancing ledgers sucks and they pay for Stripe cos dealing with banks and payment gateways is a nightmare.
