I was lucky to get to sit in on today's arguments in the June Medical abortion case at SCOTUS. I'll leave the heavy-duty legal analysis to others, but here are some stray thoughts. (Which all boil down to one thought, really: Good god please think about the courts when voting!)
For one thing, I was struck by how simple this case really is. There wasn't a lot of legal jargon being thrown around. I honestly think anyone would've been able to follow the arguments and the questions from the justices. It made me wish all Americans could see it!
