This explanation is cool, but I realized this morning that there is a lot more I could say.

Understanding Node.js, a🧵 Node comes with a JS engine, chrome’s v8 to be specific.

But that’s not all that supports JS in a browser. Browsers also provide an event loop for processing events in JS.

So Node provides one too!

We're going to try something different today. This is not an isolated incident and it isn't ok.

I was once in a role where my boss didn't feel he needed to give me a raise because I wasn't a head of household. He assumed my parents/boyfriend were responsible for financially taking care of me.
