There was a conspiracy to overthrow Mormonism and Utah, as testified to by John A. Widstoe, who overheard the conspirators discussing their plans while serving on the Board of Directors of The University of Utah.

It appears the plan was to utilize the Greek Living system to dilute the faith of Mormon youth, then place those individuals in positions of power, influence, and gain.

It appears that plan was wildly successful... and the Huntsmans and the Marriotts (both Sigma Chi families, by and large) are some of the best evidence of the success of the conspirators.

There is a short window in which he can step forward, tell the full story, and accept responsibility. I hope he will choose to do so.

Gordon, I know you were a victim before you made the choices you did. I'm sorry this happened to you, and that these church leaders couldn't manifest the fruits you were expecting of them as prophets and apostles to help you heal. Healing is possible, although the cost will be higher than you can imagine.

Don't let these men use you any longer, Gordon. Break free from their influence, which has increased and prolonged your suffering, as we both know.
