Friends in the 🇺🇸 (and elsewhere) here's some info you might want to know regarding U.S. Foreign Aid to Israel - all info is from fas.org - Congressional Research Service
1. Israel is the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign assistance since World War II 2. Almost all U.S. aid to Israel is military assistance, provided to Israel "in light of robust domestic U.S. support for Israel + its security; shared strategic goals in the M.E; a mutual commitment to democratic values; + U.S. support for the creation of Israel in 1948."

1. Consider signing 1 of these letters re: the rescinding of offer of employment to @ValentinaAzarov to head UofT’s International Human Rights Program. Please read thread.
docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAI…2. It's reported that @ValentinaAzarov's offer of employment to head @UTLaw's #humanrights program was rescinded when Law Dean acquiesced to pressure by a Judge-donor to program cuz her scholarship recognizes Israeli settlements violate IHRL.

As is so often the case in supply-side arguments here's what's omitted: how will it be ensured new build rentals will be affordable that (based on h/hold income)? How will units be protected vs investor driven interests eg: private equity, REITS, short-term rental platforms? 1/4
Also omitted: Keeping lower income h/holds out of h/ownership = wealth inequality issue. Property inheritance is how wealth is often built esp in economies where there're few other ways to do so. Look @ USA having kept BlacknBrown ppl out of prpty markets=inter generatnl poverty
