Wessam Abou Ali scored a perfect hat-trick for Al Ahly.
The first ever by a Palestinian in a FIFA tournament.
@FIFAcom, who celebrates every “first goal” and players’ heritage, said nothing.
Does that have anything to do with their openly pro-Israel social media manager?
FIFA’s social media lead, Jessica Furness, is also co-founder of @HerGameToo a campaign that claims to fight for inclusivity in football.
They partnered up with @kickitout, who push the IHRA definition that equates criticism of Israel with antisemitism. This is sportswashing.

Update on
I exposed the Israeli startup whose founders openly support IOF war crimes in Palestine while building a football app with global stars.
Now they’ve started quietly removing players from their site.
🧵 Here’s what’s changed:Skillset.tv
marketed itself as a revolutionary app “built by pros for the next generation.”
They flaunted major names: Cesc Fabregas, Bruno Fernandez, Virgil Van Dijk, Luka Modric…
But since our exposure, the full list of players has disappeared from the site. Skillset.tv

After Barcelona City Council cut ties with Tel Aviv, FC Barcelona president Laporta invites Israeli Embassy to Camp Nou stadium amidst ongoing genocide in Gaza.
He did the same in Feb 2023 when former Barcelona mayor Ada Colau suspended twin city ties with Tel Aviv.
Laporta is probably one of the most openly pro-Israel figures in Spanish football.
He’s been behind the sponsorship deal between FC Barcelona and Israeli NFT company Ownix, owned by Moshe Hogeg, former owner of the most racist club in the world: Beitar Jerusalem.
🧵🇵🇸 Here is a thread of all fan bases calling for solidarity with Palestine and the suspension of Israel from the beautiful game:
Leading the way — Celtic’s Green Brigade vs Bayern Munich
Basque Country.
Osasuna fans vs Real Madrid in La Liga raised and showed thousands of red cards to Israel.

“I tweeted Free Palestine. Less than 10 minutes later, I got a call from the NBA commissioner, agents, people in my foundation, and even folks from Texas, telling me to take it down”
NBA star Dwight Howard.

You could get into a lot of trouble.”

Ayham Al-Salaymeh will become the youngest person ever to be imprisoned in “Israel”.
His 1-year sentence starts today, 1 December 2024. He's just 14 years old.
If this is not apartheid, I don't know what it is.
This is Ayham on a final tour in Jerusalem with his father, hours before he was forced to surrender himself to spend a whole year in the occupation’s prisons.
He has also been under house arrest at his family home in occupied East Jerusalem for 18 months

AT LEAST 2 French supporters have been attacked by a mob of Israeli fans inside the Stade de France during the France vs Israel game.
@UEFA this game should have never been allowed to go ahead. You have put the life of fans at risk.
Witnesses say it was 10 Israeli fans against a single French man.

Zionist organisation ‘Betar’ posted pictures of its members walking with sticks in Paris, ahead of tonight’s game between France/Israel.
This game shouldn’t take place.
1. Israel should be banned from football. 2. UEFA can’t currently ensure the safety of Parisians and fans.

Dutch young journalist @OmeBender was reporting on Maccabi Tel Aviv fans when one of them approached him and “warned” to stop filming.
The Israeli fans can be seen in these videos, carrying steel pipes and throwing stones at homes.
As @omebender reports, the Israeli fans are seen stealing steel poles from the ground and proceed to terrorise Dutch people who were around (you will notice a few women desperately running away from the scene)

“Sports -tourists” who spent 2 days creating chaos in Amsterdam, stealing and setting Palestinian flags on fire, attacked local taxi drivers, shouted racists chants, refused to hold a minute of silence during the match for Valencia victims…
Last night, hooligans from the Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv marched through the streets of Amsterdam — ahead of the Ajax vs Maccabi match.
They stole Palestinian flags from homes and even set a Palestinian flag on fire. A taxi driver was also reportedly attacked by the mob.
An eyewitness stated: “It all kicked off when they pulled a Palestinian flag off a facade. Then they started provoking and destroyed a taxi driver's car and beat up the driver themselves.”
Some Maccabi fans were seen with metal chains, ready to attack.

“FIFA Disciplinary Committee will be mandated to initiate an investigation into the alleged offence of discrimination raised by Palestine FA”
FIFA has just delayed a decision to ban Israel AGAIN.
We are 1 year into the bombardment & destruction of Gaza. 41,000 + killed.
Israel is bombing 4-5 countries at the same time, conducting a genocide, outlawing head of UN, skipping justice of ICC.
Further investigations are not needed.
Investigations were not needed at all to expel Russia @FIFAcom

URGENT! 🚨
@FIFAcom council could vote in the next 48h whether to ban Israel from international football over its crimes in Palestine and violations of FIFA rules.
It seems like FIFA is aiming for the this meeting to go unnoticed.
Here’s what we can do to keep pushing them👇🏼🧵
Tag @FIFAcom and @UEFAcom.
If FIFA wants to maintain its claim of supporting justice and human rights, it must take serious action against Israel. Here are some talking points (via @Eko_Movement)
