I got curious about why the places on the vaccine leaderboard are weighted toward territories and new states, so I did what any normal person would do: I painstakingly constructed an excel chart of several different variables to calculate correlations
Turns out the correlation between "efficient vaccine distribution" and "recency of statehood" is much greater than population or land area!
