I've been really into researching the origins of wigs since I got alopecia, & the hair industry is a fascinating & often deeply unethical one. Today's find? Most wigs from China actually come from North Korea! I try to purchase hair ethically, which usually means I buy 2nd hand. There is no oversight body for hair classification, & while hair is labelled by its alleged country of origin (Russian/Brazilian/Indian etc)..it's really not possible to verify (other than general quality).
