The first time Sasuke played with Sakura's hair, it was after they were pleasantly disheveled.

Sakura was still trying to catch her breath when Sasuke lazily reached up his lone hand and swiped the strands of hair in her face, tucking it behind her ears. His hand didn't let go of her hair though, but instead let it flow down his hands up to the ends where he started playing with it.

Sakura smiles as she watches him. Sasuke, seemingly feeling her gaze, looks at her and also gives her a smile.

Tsunade let out a sigh as she looked at what was in front of her.

She probably should have seen this coming.

One thing Sakura learned about Sasuke during their travels is that he's actually very fond of kids.

In every village they pass through, if they had to stay for a while, the kids would somehow be drawn to him.

Most of them were curious—a lot of villages they've visited don't really have ninjas. And Sasuke has a "cool sword" as a lot of the male kids would often comment on. Sasuke never had an issue about speaking his mind. He was quite blunt, too—someone who never sugargoats.

The following weeks, Sasuke and Sakura were basically together daily. They have endorsement shoots, magazine shoots, acting workshops and meetings together. Sasuke was feeling glum when he came to school that morning. His brother had turned him down once more and promised a "next time." He wondered when the next time would really be?
