This is a failure of the NIH. The National.Institutes.of.Health. The retiring head of the organization was a gene hunter. And yet we can't offer simple tests. nytimes.com/2021/12/28/hea… The org needs an overhaul. 'Building 10' is supposedly designed to move science from 'bench to bedside' and yet we have these systemic failures.
