Luke 15
🪡 2 months ago, I misplaced my iPad pencil, I knew it was in my room, somewhere around the bed I sleep on everyday, I even attempted to look underneath (just touch the floor without looking) but I didn’t find it,
I carried on because I COULD DO WITHOUT IT.

Dear Christian,
A lot of us are praying this year, joining the Hallelujah Challenge alongside several christian activities, trusting God for direction. The Holy Spirit brought light on a very popular bible story. I’ve come as an answer to your prayers.

🪡 1Kings 19-
Prior to this, Elijah had killed the prophets of Baal and Jezebel was now threatening seriously to kill him. The bible records in V3 that “Elijah was afraid & ran for his life.” The threat made him to panic which caused him to run. This is how most of us react to life.

Dear Christian,
If you know anyone tired, burnt out and trying to make sense of the season they’re in, they need to see this. A different perspective on the resurrection of Lazarus that the Holy Spirit brought immense light on. John 11:1-44

🪡 The Chapter starts with Mary and Martha sending word to Jesus in V3- “the one you love” is sick. So we need to understand that there was a serious and existing relationship between the siblings and Jesus. In V5, the bible also re-iterated that Jesus loved them.

Dear Christian,
Today we’re talking about a kingdom matriarch whose story we don’t talk about because we have not understood its depth. In her story is a ministry to women and parents. Share to everyone you know, Let’s talk about Leah.

🪡 The first time the bible mentions Leah is in Gen 29:17, she was described as one who had weak eyes. Hebrew meaning defines Leah as “delicate”. Forced by her father to marry a man who didn’t love her because of his greed and she didn’t have any say in her marriage.

Dear Christian,
You’ve most likely heard a preacher or your pastor talk about “patterns”. Some of us don’t know how deep it is. This teaching is a scary one that left me mind blown but God has to bring awareness.

Let’s really understand PATTERNS.

🪡 Gen 25:20 Isaac was 40 years old when he married Rebekah but like Sarah, Rebekah was not able to conceive in V21 and just like Abraham was pleading for Sarah, we see Isaac do same. However, we see in V26 that Isaac waited 20 years for his sons,

Dear Christian,
There’s the story of a particular man in the bible that we know but don’t look at his life completely so we’ve never really understood the sad and pitiable life he lived. Sadly some of us are falling into this trap. Let’s talk about LOT. Gen 11-19

🪡 Lot was the nephew to Abraham. In Gen 11:28, Haran who was Lot’s father died and when Terah, his grand father moved from Ur, he took his grandson along with Abraham and Sarah to Harran. (Lot’s first move)
Terah died, God called Abraham, he moved again with Lot and Sarah, (Move 2)

Dear Christian,
Today, my heart goes out to those of us that have had to make tough decisions that hurt others and even our selves. To those in this cross-road right now, the struggle between your wants and God’s needs is tough! I’ve brought comfort.

GOD AS A REFINER’S FIRE.

🪡 This comfort may not be what you want to hear but you may need it for clarity.
Sometimes when God is refining us, it’ll come with a lot of shedding, hurt, pain, misunderstanding, our emotions turned upside down. Sometimes we can’t even understand it.

Today, we’re talking Marriage.
While I’m a little hesitant, I have a strong feeling that a married couple needs to see this light from Adam and Eve.
If you’re single, in a relationship or you’re one of the people that just said yes, jump in.

🪡 The very first time we see God say something was not good was regarding man being “alone” in Genesis 2:18-20. So God forms animals and shows it to man to name them. He does but the bible records, there was still no helper suitable for man.

GENESIS!!!

🪡 Genesis 1:1
Tells us that “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”
V2 we are now told How he created it.
“Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.”

Dear Christian,
I was studying 2 Samuel 7 and I came across something so profound. I was shocked at the depth of the fatherhood of God and the extent he would go for us when he has seen our heart towards him.

🪡 David was already king at this point, he conquered Jerusalem, built his palace and moved into the City of David. Then having a conversation with prophet Nathan, he said in V2
“Here I am, living in a house of cedar, while the ark of God remains in a tent.”
INTENT BORN FROM LOVE.

Dear Christian,
I was worshiping with Sunmisola’s rendition of “no longer slaves” originally sang by Bethel Music. Usually when this song comes up, I focus on “the love of God” but this time, The Holy Spirit echoed “A Child of God”
This is such an important thread.
🪡 Gal 4:5-7 talks about how Christ redeemed us from the law and made us receive adoption through sonship.
V7 “So YOU ARE NO LONGER A SLAVE BUT GOD’S CHILD; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.
The first realization that hit me is, “I will report you to daddy”

Dear Christian,
The Holy Spirit showed me a hidden template for results in 1st Samuel 16.
I’ll talk about it from a relationship angle so if you’re single get in here. However, it applies to business, career and literally cuts across.

🪡 V1
“The LORD said to Samuel, “How long will you grieve over Saul, since I have rejected him from being king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go. I will send you to Jesse the Bethlehemite, for I have provided for myself a king among his sons.”

Dear Christian,
I was trying to study the person of David from 1 Samuel 16 and what the Holy Spirit brought light on sent shivers down my spine. If you know anybody that may have been “helping” God after reading this or even you, it’s time for a rethink.

🪡 The first verse in 1 Samuel 16 really hit me.
“How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have REJECTED him”. The same God that anointed him? What really happened?

God’s plan in 1 Samuel 9:15/16 was that Saul would be anointed as king to deliver Israel from the philistines.

Dear Christian,
This Easter, I’ve come bearing comfort. I watched the movie Afamefuna, some of my memories are resurfacing and God is leading me to share this.

🪡 I wasn’t the home sick type growing up, the first to go to boarding school in my house. 1st and 2nd term of JSS1 was good but 3rd term, it felt like reality started to hit me that I was leaving home. I don’t even understand it till now. I faked a lot of excuses just to go home.

Dear Christian,
Let me show you what the Holy Spirit showed me about temptations. When you “yield”, a lot more is at stake than you think and it’s beyond fornication. When you allow anger, pride, disobedience, rebellion etc without discerning, there is a greater play.

🪡 Let’s look at the 3 temptations of Jesus;
Temptation 1
Mtt 4: 2-3
After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”

I’ve always felt Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego had audacity with how they talked to Nebuchadnezzar but today the Holy Spirit brought strange light and said there’s more! I was just shouting on the road.

“…O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know,

Let’s talk about guilt today. It’s been on my mind and No, I’m not talking of guilt that comes when you knowingly did something wrong. I’m talking about the unconscious one that eats us out and our perfect case study is PETER.

Everyday, I get convinced that if Jesus was in this generation, we would still crucify him.

But they insisted, “He stirs up the people all over Judea by his teaching. He started in Galilee and has come all the way here.”

All the works of Jesus, he said we will do greater in his name.

For Christians that are givers or have been called to kingdom financing, some of the things the Holy Spirit has been teaching me.

1. Sometimes, you can give too much to people to their detriment. I.e Entitlement and comfortability sets in that they don’t use the pain of lack to push through and get to prosperity.

2. You can give out of emotions to your own detriment. You’ll then lack financial management, proper planning, savings and investment.

I’m studying the temptation of Jesus and the Lord leads me to Genesis to study what went on in Eden. I was thinking maybe I’ll see something about food but he showed me an entirely different thing😫

Temptations start as conversations either in your heart by the enemy championing your flesh or with people.

This month, I’m studying the book of Luke and as I started Luke 1, God took me on an interesting journey.

FRUITFULNESS & CONSECRATIONS Luke 1:6/7 talks about how both Elizabeth and Zechariah were righteous in the sight of God but were childless because Elizabeth could not conceive and they were both very old.
Take note, “childless” meaning they didn’t have a child NOT explicitly stating that they were “barren”
