Voyager 1 has been traveling >30,000 mph for 43 years and it's only 20 light hours away

Nearest star is 33 light years away.

Only one "light day" has passed from the 12,000 light days journey.

In half a million years at voyager speed you could reach nearest star. Any Sci-Fi that doesn't cover large timespans is lazy sci-fi in my books.

One lesson on how valuable understanding is in relationships:

My girlfriend was always terrified of childbirth, and vaccines.
She had an auto-immune disease when she was a kid.
She had episodes where her body became paralyzed as a kid.

We mailed the doctor that cured her.

We wanted to ask if it was safe to get the covid vaccine.

Found out back then she never thanked her doctor for saving her life.

She now got both shots of pfizer, thanked her, and feels safer.
